学校简介
为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记给集美校友总会回信精神，更好地宣传“华侨旗帜、民族光辉”陈嘉庚先生的丰功伟业，传承和弘扬嘉庚精神，服务国家“一带一路”发展战略，吸引和鼓励更多优秀华侨华人后裔学生来厦门学习深造，厦门市陈嘉庚教育基金会特设立“陈嘉庚奖学金”，我校是该奖学金项目的招生学校之一。2019年计划招生《陈嘉庚奖学金》“海丝”学生20名根据《陈嘉庚奖学金章程》等文件要求，我校特制定招收2019年“海丝”沿线国家华侨华人后裔学生招生简章，欢迎符合条件的华人华侨后裔学生申请就读集美工业学校。我校是公办职业学校，隶属厦门市教育局。学校地处福建厦门集美区，是集美学村家族成员。追溯两校早的办学历史是陈嘉庚先生于1920年创办的集美学校商科。学校师资力量雄厚，教学实训设施良好，设有先进制造、智能控制、信息工程、现代化工、现代交通、现代服务、闽南文化等七个产业学系，共26个专业群。其中现代制造、城轨交通、电子信息、艺术设计(文化创意)专业群在省内具特色及品牌影响力；工业分析与检验专业为全国首批示范性重点专业；数控技术应用、模具设计与制造、机电技术应用与维护、计算机网络技术、会计电算化、现代物流管理等6个专业为省级重点建设专业；汽车运用与维修、电子技术应用、市场营销、电子商务、旅游服务与管理等5个专业为市级骨干专业；电子电器应用与维护及物联网应用技术两个专业为国家示范性资源共享共建科研课题专业。目前在校学生总人数6000多名。
