2022年东莞理工学院国际学生基本条件：GeneralRequirements

（1）不具有中国国籍，持有效外国护照。TheapplicantisnotChineseandhasavalidforeignpassport.

（2）身体健康，必须达到办理来华学习签证或居留证件的体检标准。Theapplicantisingoodhealth,andmeetsthehealthexaminationstandardsforapplyingforastudentvisaorresidencepermitinChina.

（3）对华友好，勤奋好学，品行端正，遵纪守法，无违反校规校纪行为的记录，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯，无治安处罚，无犯罪记录。TheapplicantisfriendlytoChina,diligentandeagertolearn,honest,law-abiding,hasnorecordofviolatingschoolrulesandregulations,respectsthecustomsofChinesepeople,andhasnorecordofpublicsecuritypunishmentoracriminalrecord.

（4）华裔学习背景要求父母双方或一方为中国公民或从中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾移民外国后取得外国国籍的，根据《教育部关于规范我高等学校接受国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12号），须入籍4年（含）以上，且近4年之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录。IftheapplicantisanethnicChinese,andbothoroneparentoftheapplicantisaChinesecitizenorhaveacquiredforeignnationalityafteremigrationfromMainlandChina(Mainland),HongKong,Macao,andTaiwan,he/shemusthaveobtainedtheforeignnationalityformorethan4years(inclusive)andproviderecordofactuallylivingintheforeigncountryformorethan2yearswithinthelast4yearsaccordingtotherequirementsofCircularoftheMinistryofEducationonRegulatingtheRecruitmentofInternationalStudentsbyChineseInstitutionsofHigherEducation(〔2020〕No.12LetterIssuedbytheMinistryofEducation).
