2.DurationoftheScholarship

Master'sDegreeStudents:2-3academicyears

Note:ApplicantswhoapplyforChinese-instructedcoursesmusthaveagoodcommandofChineselanguage.IftheirChineseproficiencyhavenotreachedtherequirementofourinstitutionforprofessionallearning,theyarerequiredtotakeone-yearremedialChineselanguagecoursesandpasstherelevanttestpriortothestudiesintheirspecialties.

AllapplicantswhohavecompletedonlineapplicationinthewebsiteofChinaScholarshipCouncilalsoshouldcompletetheonlineapplicationofHangzhouNormal University: hznu.***/student.

QualificationforApplication

1. Applicantsmustbenon-Chinesecitizensandingoodhealth.

2. ApplicantsmustNOTberegisteredstudentsinChineseuniversitiesatthetimeofapplicationorgraduatesfromChineseuniversitieswhosegraduationislessthanoneyearago.

3. Applicantsformaster'sdegreestudiesmusthavebachelor'sdegreeandbeundertheageof35;

4. Donotacceptapplicationstomajorinone’snativelanguageorathirdlanguage(French,English,etc.)

5. Applicantsshouldhaveagoodacademicrecord.

6. Applicantsshouldnotbebeneficiariesofanyotherscholarships.

7. ApplicantsforChinese-instructedprogramsshouldhaveanHSKtestscoreoflevel5 orabove.

(6) TwolettersofrecommendationinChineseorEnglishfromfullprofessorsorassociateprofessors.(Professors’contactphonenumberandemailaddressmustbeputontheletter)

(7) Publishedacademicpapersorotheracademicachievements.(ifapplicable)

(8) PhotocopyofForeignerPhysicalExaminationForm(download),filledinEnglish.Theoriginalcopyshouldbekeptbytheapplicant.ThemedicalexaminationsmustcoveralltheitemslistedintheForeignerPhysicalExaminationForm.Incompleterecordsorthosewithoutthesignatureoftheattendingphysician,theofficialstampofthehospitalorasealedphotographoftheapplicantsareinvalid.

AdmissionandNotification

1. HangzhouNormal Universitywillreviewalltheapplicationmaterials.Decisionsforadmissionandforgrantingthescholarshipswillbemadeonthebasisoftheapplicants'competitiveness,academicrecordandotherwise.

2. ThenamelistofthescholarshipawardeeforpostgraduateprogramswillbesenttoChinaScholarshipCouncilforreviewinMay,2020. ThenamelistisreviewedandapprovedbyChinaScholarshipCouncil,thescholarshipawardeewillbenotifiedbytheuniversityandAdmissionNoticewithotherrelevantdocumentswillbesentinJuly2020.

Notes

1. Scholarshipstudentsshouldregisteronthedatestipulatedbytheuniversity.Studentswhohavenotreceivedpermissionandarrivallateforthisregistrationwillhavetheirscholarshipstatusautomaticallycanceled.Studentswhohavekepttheadmissionandwillnotregisterinthefallsemester2020willhavetheirscholarshipstatuscanceled.

2. Scholarshipstudents'affairsaremanagedaccordingtotherelevantregulationsofChineseGovernmentScholarship.ScholarshipstudentsmustgothroughtheAnnualReviewoftheChineseGovernmentScholarshipStatus.IfstudentsfailinAnnualReview,theirscholarshipwillbeterminated.

3. ScholarshipstudentsarenotallowedtochangetheirinstitutionsaswellastheiracademicprogramsorthedurationofstudyspecifiedintheAdmissionNotice.

4. SchoolofInternational EducationofHangzhouNormal Universityisresponsiblefortheinterpretationofthescholarshipgrantingproceduresandregulations.
