GansuAgriculturalUniversity(GAU)islocatedonthepicturesqueYellowRiverbankinAnningDistrictofLanzhou.ItspredecessorwastheNationalVeterinaryCollegefoundedinLanzhouinOctober1946.

GAUhas23colleges,1StateKeyDiscipline,1KeyDisciplineofStateMinistryofAgricultureand13ProvincialKeyDisciplines,5Post-DoctoralResearchStations,26Ph.Dprograms,66Master’sDegreeprograms,and58Bachelor’sDegreeprograms.GAUhas33researchinstitutesandlabsthatprovidesubstantialsupporttoacademicactivities.

AneffectiveHSKcertificate(level4,180)isrequiredforanapplicantfortheMasterDegreeprogrambeforetheacademicstudy.AneffectiveHSKcertificate(level3,180)isrequiredforanapplicantforthePhDDegreeprogrambeforethesecondacademicstudy.

5.Eligibility

(1)Theapplicantmustbenon-Chinesewithavalidpassport,beingoodhealthandhavenocriminalrecord,willobserveallthelawsofChinaaswellastherulesandregulationsofGAU.

(2)ApplicantsforChineselanguagestudiesmustfinishahighschooldiplomaoritsequivalent.

ApplicantsforMasterDegreestudiesmustfinishaBachelor’sDegreeoritsequivalentandagedunder36.

ApplicantsforDoctoralDegreestudiesmustfinishaMaster’sDegreeoritsequivalentandagedunder42.

8.Approval,NotificationandEnrollment:

GAUwillorganizeacommitteetoreviewalltheapplicationmaterials,makethedecisionwhetherornottoadmittheapplicants.Afterthat,GAUwillreleasethelistofmatriculatedstudentsandsendthemtheAdmissionNoticeofGAUandVisaApplicationforStudyinChina(i.e.:JW202Form)for“X1”visaapplicationintheChineseembassy.AlltheInternationalstudentsmatriculatedinGAUareresponsiblefortheirvisaapplicationontheirown.

Enrollment:March2019;thedefinitetimewillbeinformedonAdmissionNotice.AllthematriculatedstudentsshouldbeenrolledinGAUontimeaccordingtotheAdmissionNotice.

9.Fees
