AdmissionofHuaiyinInstituteofTechnologyForInternationalStudents（2017）

HuaiyinInstituteofTechnologyisoneoftheprovincialinstitutionsofhighereducationinNorthJiangsuprovince,China.ItislocatedinHuai'an,afamoushistorical&culturalcityaswellasthehometownofZhouEnlaiwhowasthefirstPremierofthePeople'sRepublicofChina.HYITwasfoundedin1958,andin2000itwasupgradedtoanundergraduateinstitutiongrantingBachelorDegrees.InSeptember2011,itwasselectedasoneofthepilotinstitutionsundertaking“APlanforEducatingandTrainingOutstandingEngineers(PETOE)”.InOctober2011,approvedbytheAcademicDegreesCommitteeoftheStateCouncil,itwasauthorizedtoofferMasterDegreeofEngineeringaccordingtotheNationalSpecialNeedsTalentTrainingProject.

HYIThastwocampuses—MeichengRoadCampusandBeijingRoadCampus---coveringanareaofabout2070mu(about148hectares).HYIThasperfectinfrastructureandfacilitiesandaflooredspaceof570,000squaremeters.HYITconsistsof16facultiesandcolleges,offeringBachelordegreesin62programsandMasterdegreein1program.Thereareover18,000registeredregularstudentsstudyingforBachelorDegreesorMasterDegree.HYIThasastaffof1,389,amongwhomthereare1,068facultymembers,including454professorsandassociateprofessors,958withDoctororMasterDegrees,275postgraduateadviserswhichinclude10part-timeadvisersand55enterpriseadvisers.HYITbegantorecruitfull-timeprofessionaldegreegraduatestudentsin2012andnowithasmorethan200postgraduatestudents.

HYITactivelypromotestheacademicinternationalizationandhasbeen***rethan60internationalstudentsfrom18differentcountrieshavestudiedforundergraduatedegreeinHYITnow.

From2017,HYITbeginsenrollingpostgraduatestudentsfromallovertheworld.

HuaiyinInstituteofTechnologyhasgoodteachingandlivingfacilitiesandelegantcampusenvironment,wewarmlywelcomestudentsandstudentsfromallovertheworld.

HYITinstitutestwo-semestersystem,semester1:SeptembertoJanuaryandsemester2:FebruarytoJuly.

LengthofStudy:Bachelor-4years,Master-3years.

Theapplicantswhodon’thaveHSKcertificate(level4)butwillstudytheprogramsinChinesemustattend2semesters’Chineselanguagetrainingbeforestartingthemajors.NosuchrequirementforthosewhowouldapplyfortheprogramsconductedinEnglish.ApplicantswhohaveHSKcertificate(level5)maystartthemajorswithChinesestudents.

4.Eligibility

(1)Theapplicantmustbenon-Chinesewithavalidpassport,beingoodhealthandhavenocriminalrecord,willobserveallthelawsofChinaaswellastherulesandregulationsofHYIT.

(2)ApplicantsforBachelorDegreestudiesmustfinishahighschooldiplomaoritsequivalentandagedunder28.

(3)ApplicantsforMasterDegreestudiesmustobtaintheBachelorDegreefromdomesticandinternationaluniversitieswiththesameorclosemajor.

5.ApplicationDocuments

(1)ApplicationFormforInternationalStudentsfilledinChineseorEnglishwitharecordphoto(refertoappendixorseedetailsinwebsite);

(2)NotarizeddiplomaandtranscriptinEnglishorChinese.IfnotinEnglishorChinese,translateandnotarize(photocopy,theoriginalonesmustbepresentedwhenyoucometoregister);

(3)Studying/workingCertificateandtranscriptwithnotarizedforcurrentseniormiddleschoolgraduates/workunit(photocopy,theoriginalonemustbepresentedwhenyoucometoregister);

(4)CertificateofHSK(photocopy,theoriginalonemustbepresentedwhenyoucometoregister);

(5)StudyplanorresearchplaninChina;

(6)ApplicantsforMasterDegreemustsubmittherecommendationlettersfromtwoprofessor(orassociateprofessor)inEnglishorChinese;

(7)Foreigner’sPhysicalExaminationForm(refertoappendixorseedetailsinwebsite)andbloodtestreport.Originalformsmustbepresentedwhenyoucometoregister.ThemedicalexaminationsmustcoveralltheitemslistedintheForeigner’sPhysicalExaminationForm.Incompleterecordsorthosewithoutthesignatureoftheattendingphysician,officialstampofthehospitaloraphotographoftheapplicantsareinvalid;

(8)Passportphotocopy.

7.Approval,NotificationandEnrollment:

(1)HYITwillorganizeacommitteetoreviewalltheapplicationmaterials,makethedecisionwhetherornottoadmittheapplicants.

(2)Afterthat,HYITsendthemthePre-AdmissionNoticewithPaymentnoticeofaccommodationdepositbyE-mail.

(3)HYITwillreleasethelistofmatriculatedstudentsandsendthemtheAdmissionNoticeandVisaApplicationforStudyinChinafor“X”visaapplicationintheChineseembassy.AlltheInternationalstudentsmatriculatedinHYITareresponsiblefortheirvisaapplicationontheirown.

(4)Enrollment:Autumnsemester:September2017.ThedefinitetimewillbeinformedonAdmissionNotice.AllthematriculatedstudentsshouldbeenrolledinHYITontimeaccordingtotheAdmissionNotice.Registrationcanonlybedelayedforacceptablereasonsandfornomorethan15dayswithpriorpermissionfromHYIT.Thosewhofailtoregisterbeforetheendofthegraceperiodwithoutproperreasonswillbeconsideredtoabandontheadmission.

8.Fees

(1)Self-paidstudentpleasefindthedetailsinattachment.

(2)ToattractandencouragemoreforeignstudentstostudyinHYIT,ourschoolsetupHYITPresidentScholarshipandExcellentStudyScholarshipofOverseasStudentsinSchoolofInternationalEducation(SIE)ofHYIT.HYITsetstheHYITPresidentScholarshipforapplicantswhichwaivestuitionfeeforUndergraduatestudy(4years)andgraduatestudy(3years).Theapplicationformforthefirstyear’sHYITPresidentScholarship(refertoappendix)isrequiredtobescannedandsubmittedwiththeotheradmissionapplicationdocuments.TheHYITPresidentScholarshipforthenextthreeyearsisappliedforeachacademicyearwiththerequirementsthatallexamsshouldpass60andnobad-behaviorrecord.
