2017年华东理工大学来华留学生保险注意事项

1、既往症、先天性疾病属于来华人员综合保障计划的免除责任，慢性病次年不得续保，如有违反相关规定由本人承担相关法律及经济责任。

2、留学生保险对于就诊医院规定为：公立医院（国际部除外）、普通科室就诊费用。 不包含私立医院、公立医院内的特需病区、外宾病区、高干病房、VIP病房等同类病区发生的费用。

3、住院押金问题，因为保险不包含自费项目，这部分费用需要学生自付。

4、保险生效日说明：我校留学生保险生效日统一为8月25日和2月25日，不是按照实际缴费时间计算。

I.Insurancepurchase

1.Allinternationalstudentsarerequiredtojointheinsuranceprogram

Degreestudents,languagestudentsandexchangestudentswhowillstudyinECUSTforsixmonthsormorearerequiredtopurchaseinsurancewhichcoversdeathinsurance,accidentaldisabilityinsurance,medicalinsuranceofaccidentalinjuryandhospitalizationandmedicalinsuranceinChina.It’sprovidedbyPingAnAnnuityInsuranceCompany.TheinsuranceofChinesegovernmentscholarshipstudentsispurchasedbytheChinaScholarshipCouncil.TheinsuranceofShanghaigovernmentscholarshipstudentsandECUSTPresidentscholarshipstudentsispurchasedbytheschool.

2.Forinternationalstudentswhohavealreadypurchasedinsurance

TheinternationalstudentswhohavealreadypurchasedinsuranceintheirowncountriesarestillrequiredtopurchaseinsuranceinChina. TheinternationalstudentswhohavealreadypurchasedinsuranceinChinaarerequiredtosubmittheoriginalcopyofinsurancereceiptandtosignforLetterofCommitment.

3.Insurancefee

PingAnInsuranceCompanyofChinaprovidestheinternationalstudentswithinsuranceprograms,whichcosts800RMBoneyearand400RMBforhalfayear.

II.InsuranceServices

1.Studentswhopurchaseinsurancewillreceiveadocumentoutliningtheinsurancecontents.Pleasereadthiscarefullyinordertounderstandwhatiscoveredandwhatisnotcoveredbytheinsurance.

2.Studentswhopurchaseinsurancewillreceiveaninsurancecard.Ifyoufeelunwellorwouldlikemedicaladvice,treatmentrecommendationsorreimbursementinformation,pleasecall400-810-5119(listedonthecard)andselectoption1forEnglishservice.Thishotlineisoperated24hours.

1.Anypreviousmedicalhistoryorcongenitaldisordersarenotcoveredbythisinsuranceplan.Chronicillnesseswillonlybecoveredforthefirstyearafteronset.Anylegalfeesincurredbecauseofillegalbehaviourarenotcovered.

2.Internationalstudentinsurancecoverspublichospitalexpenses(excludinginternationaldepartments)andregularoutpatientserviceexpenses.Itdoesnotcoverprivatehospitalsorspecialneedswards,foreigners’wards,seniorcadres’wards,VIPwards,etcinpublichospitals.

3.Theinsurancedoesnotcoverthedepositforhospitalization.Thus,studentsareexpectedtopaythisthemselves.

4.EffectivedateofthisinsuranceisonAug25th andFeb25th,notthepurchasingtime.
