人才培养目标：面向江苏省、南京市及空港枢纽区现代服务业中的工商企业的发展培养掌握现代企业商务管理的基本理论、基本知识，具有较强的实践能力和操作技能，拥有良好的商务职业素养、服务意识、爱岗敬业品格及团队精神,能从事客服、理货、收银、销售、市场调查、采购等基层商务管理工作的较高素质的技术技能型人才。
就业方向：商贸连锁、广告策划、营销中介、零售、管理咨询等服务业企事业单位。主要就业部门：营销部门、售后服务、物流、采购等一线基层管理部门等。可从事的工作岗位有市场分析、营销、采购、客户开发、维护等。
学院是中国连锁经营协会会员单位、南京现代服务业联合会常务理事单位，南京物流行业协会常务理事会员单位。与华润苏果、苏宁集团、京东、南京宜家、孩子王、永辉、沃尔玛、欧尚、百丽国际、勤善堂、萱子饰品等合作企业建立了专业实习与人才培养基地，同时在校内建有现代商贸实训中心、商务谈判实训室和企业经营管理沙盘模拟实训室等。本专业经常组织学生开展企业参观、调研、专业辅导、参加国家、省、校各级竞赛等活动，并取得好成绩。
本专业有相当比例的学生会在毕业前参加专接本考试，每年都有许多毕业生考入省内十余家本科院校继续学习升造。

With huarunsuguo, Suning group, Jingdong, Nanjing IKEA, WAL-MART, Yong Hui, the king of the children, Auchan, BELLE international, lst, and other cooperative enterprises established professional practice base and personnel training, and training center of modern business, business negotiation and business training room management simulation training room construction in the school.
