一、学校简介

INTRODUCTION TO HUAQIAO UNIVERSITY

华侨大学创办于1960年，是中国政府重点建设的综合性大学，是中国早招收留学生的大学之一，建校以来累计培养各类人才20多万名，其中港澳台侨、留学生校友6万余名。学校在中国福建省泉州市和厦门市分别设有校区，目前拥有来自港澳台地区和90多个国家的华侨华人学生、留学生6100余名，是中国境外生多的高校之一，是中国教育部批准的中国政府奖学金本科来华留学预科教育17所试点院校之一。学校专门成立预科教育学院，设计了目标明确、内容丰富、层次多样的预科教育课程体系，全面培养学生的语言能力、实践能力、学习能力和跨文化交际能力。

Established in 1960, Huaqiao University (HQU) is a key comprehensive university by the Chinese Central Government and one of the earliest Chinese universities to recruit international students. Over 200,000 students of all levels have graduated from HQU since its establishment, among whom around 60,000 were Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan students and international students. HQU has two campuses in Quanzhou and Xiamen. HQU currently has over 6,100 overseas students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and over 90 countries and regions. It is one of the universities that recruit the largest number of overseas students in China. HQU is one of the 17 preparatory education bases for Chinese Government Scholarship students by Chinese Ministry of Education. Preparatory Education College of HQU designs tailored curriculum to train students' language ability, practical ability, learning ability and cross-cultural communication ability.

二、专业介绍

INTRODUCTION TOCHINESE LANGUAGE PROGRAM

2022年春季开设汉语言强化班，招收具有高中以上文化程度，年满16岁，持有效护照的海外华侨、华人，外国留学生。

In spring semester of 2022, Huaiqao University offers Chinese Language Program for overseas Chinese students and foreign students with valid passports and senior high school degree, aged over sixteen.

（一）培养目标 Target

以基础中文教育为依托，以科技中文、文科中文为桥梁，使学生听、说、读、写能力均衡发展，并具备使用中文作为媒介语掌握数、理、化基础知识的能力，了解中国的文化和社会概况，养成良好的学习习惯，适应大学本科或研究生阶段的学习生活。

Based on basic Chinese education while combining science and technology Chinese, liberal arts Chinese, this program trains students' comprehensive skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. It helps students use Chinese to learn other subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and to understand Chinese culture and society. It also prepares students for the undergraduate or graduate study in Chinese universities.

（二）课程设置 Curriculum

主要课程有中文基础、中文实践、中文词汇、中文听说、中文写作、文科中文、科技中文等，也可选修中文授课的数学、物理、化学等课程。

The main courses include Basic Chinese, Chinese Practice, Chinese Vocabulary, Chinese Listening and Speaking, Chinese writing, Liberal Arts Chinese, Science and Technology Chinese, etc. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and other courses are also available for choice.

（三）教学模式 Teaching Mode

强化班采用中文课程综合训练方法，打造精讲多练、个性化辅导和小班教学（20人/班）相结合的教学模式，通过大课时量、大输入量的教学措施，为学生营造“沉浸式”中文学习使用环境。强调学生出勤率，培养其建立课前预习、课后复习、课后按时完成作业的良好学习习惯，每月进行学习效果测试，并提供HSK考试免费辅导。

The intensive class adopts the comprehensive training, emphasizing on intensive teaching, enough practice, personalized guidance and small-class teaching (20 students/class). Intensive courses and big input are adopted to create an immersive Chinese learning and practicing environment for students. Emphasis is laid on students' attendance to develop their habits of previewing before class, reviewing and doing homework on time after class. Tests are taken every month. Free HSK tutor is offered.

（四）课程优势 Course Advantages

通过短时、高效、强化的学习方式，能够在中文知识、数理化等相关专业知识以及跨文化交际能力等方面达到进入中国高等学校专业阶段学习的标准。成绩合格的高中毕业生可免试升读华侨大学各类本科专业，成绩优秀者可优先申请华侨大学留学生奖学金。

Through short-term, efficient and intensive study, Chinese learners will be able to meet the requirements in terms of Chinese competence, professional knowledge and cross-cultural communication for taking further degree study in Chinese universities. Senior high school graduates who successfully complete the program will be admitted to the undergraduate programs of HQU. Those with good academic performance can apply for the international students scholarship.

通过网上报名系统（https://admissions.***.cn/）申请并上传相关材料（含证件照、护照、《华侨大学外国留学生入学申请表》）

（二）开学时间 University Calendar

2022年春季开学时间为2022年2月21日。受新冠疫情影响，教学方式采用线上授课。

The spring semester of 2022 will start on February 21, 2022. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the program will be online program.

（三）收费项目及标准 CHARGES

报名费：500元（老生免收）

学费：每人每学期7000元

Registration fee: 500 yuan per person

Tuition fee: 7000 yuan per person per semester
