 为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记给集美校友总会回信精神，更好地宣传“华侨旗帜、民族光辉”陈嘉庚先生的丰功伟业，传承和弘扬嘉庚精神，服务国家“一带一路”发展倡议，吸引和鼓励更多优秀华侨华人后裔学生来厦门学习深造，厦门市陈嘉庚教育基金会特设立“陈嘉庚奖学金”，我校是该奖学金项目的招生学校之一。

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of A Letter of Reply to Jimei Alumni Association from the General Secretary Xi Jinping, publicize the great achievements of Mr. Tan Kah Kee, who got the reputation of “the flag of overseas Chinese and the glory of Chinese nation”, carry forward and promote the spirit of Tan Kah Kee, serve the development strategy of “One Belt, One Road”, as well as attract and encourage more outstanding students of overseas Chinese descendants to study in Xiamen, the Xiamen Tan Kah Kee Education Foundation set up the “Tan Kah Kee Scholarship”. Xiamen Ocean Vocational College is one of the admissions schools for this scholarship program.

根据《陈嘉庚奖学金章程》等文件要求，我校特制定招收“海上丝绸之路”沿线国家的华侨华人后裔学生招生简章，欢迎符合条件的留学生申请就读厦门海洋职业技术学院。

Xiamen Ocean Vocational College is located in the beautiful and warmsea garden city - Xiamen, Fujian. Xmocis a public ordinary higher vocational collegeaffiliated to the Education Department of Fujian Provincial. Xmoc is a featured chool on nationaldefenseeducation which isauthenticated by theMinistry of Education. Xmoc is also a member of theClass A colleges amongthe demonstrativemodernvocationalcolleges inFujian Province.In the meantime, Xmoc is known as a civilization chool, safety campus and excellentemploymentorganization in Fujian Province.Xiamen Ocean Vocational College evolved from the Department of Fisheries of Jimei School, which was founded by Mr. Tan Kah Keein 1920, a prominent patriotic overseas Chinese leader. Xmoc has a history ofalmost one hundred years.

学院现有思明和翔安两个校区，占地712亩，总规划占地面积1000余亩，设置有航海技术系、生物技术系、信息技术系、机电工程系、工商管理系、基础部、思政部7个系部33个专业，在校学生11000余人。

Xiamen Ocean Vocational College has Siming campus and Xiang'an campus, with an area of 474,662 square meters for now.Its planned area is 666,660 square meters in total.Xiamen Ocean Vocational College includes seven departments, namely the Department of Navigation Technology, Biotechnology,Information Technology, Electromechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Basic and Ideological and Political. Xmoc has 33 majors altogether and more than11,000 students.

学院现有专兼职教师555人，其中副高职称以上占33.33%，“双师素质”教师占专任教师的66.67%。拥有省级教学团队“水产养殖技术专业团队”，省级专业带头人11名，农业职业教育教学名师7名。建有大型船舶操纵模拟器等校内实训室及各种仿真实训室159个、校外实习实训基地218个。其中，中央财政和省级财政支持的实训基地15个。共配置教学仪器设备总值超亿元，馆藏图书50余万册。

Xiamen Ocean Vocational College has 555 full-time and part-time teachers, and33.33% of them ownsecondary senior positions.The full-time teacherswith “double qualified certifications” (who are good at engineering and teaching)reach66.67%. Meanwhile, the Xmoc owns a provincial-level teaching team“Aquaculture Technology Professional Team, 11 provincial-levelacademic leaders, and 7 agricultural vocational education teachers. Xmoc isequipped with159 on-campus training roomsand various simulation training rooms, such as large ship maneuversimulator, as well as218off-campusinternshiptraining ase .Among them, there are15 training bases supported by the central government and provincial finance.The total value of collocated teaching instrument and equipment exceeds 100 million Yuan, and the collection of books ismore than500,000.

学院大力实施国际化办学水平提升工程，积极拓宽办学视野。成立国际交流与合作中心，与澳大利亚蓝山国际酒店学院、泰国博仁大学、台湾海洋大学等高校开展联合办学和师生互访；组织承办环境科学与计算机科学各类高水平国际学术会议；实施对接国际海事公约组织标准的国际船员体系专业认证、IEET悉尼协议专业认证等方式推动人才培养国际化；聘请加拿大EdwardMcBean院士、肖惠宁院士等40多位国内外知名专家教授担任兼职或特聘教授。推动成立“国际海洋环境系统工程研究中心”“海上丝绸之路茶文化研究与传播中心”等国际合作平台。

Xiamen Ocean Vocational Collegevigorously implements the upgrading project of international school-running level and actively expands the horizon of education. An international exchange and cooperation center is established, and joint chool-running andmutual visits between teachers and students are conducted betweenBlue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia,Dhurakij Pundit University, Thailand, andNational Taiwan Ocean University and so on. Xmoc has organized various high-level international academic conferences on environmental science and computer science. We implement rofessional certification of the international crew system that meets the standards of the International Maritime Organization, as well as theIEET Sydney AgreementProfessional Certification topromote the internationalization of talent cultivation.More than 40 well-known domestic and foreign experts and professors such as Academician Edward McBean, Canada and Academician Xiao Huining are employed as part-time or special professors. We also make efforts to establish international cooperation platform  such as the “International Marine Environment System Engineering Research Center” and the “Maritime Silk Road Tea Culture Research and Communication Center”.

Xiamen Ocean Vocational College has always been guided by the spirit of “Tan Kah Kee”. Xmoc has comprehensive school philosophy. Widely absorb different things is emphasized. 二、招生对象条件

Ⅱ Admission Conditions

（一）“海上丝绸之路”沿线国家华侨华人后裔，拥护“一个中国”，对祖籍国友好。

2.1The applicants should be the descendant of overseas Chinese from the countries along the “Maritime Silk Road”, and should advocate the “One-China Policy” and be friendly to their ancestral home countries.

（二）申请读我校的学生，须获得高级中学或同等学历的中专以上毕业证书，年龄在18-30周岁（截止2020年9月1日前），持外国有效普通护照的非中国籍公民。

2.2 The applicants must obtain a diploma of senior high school or equivalent secondary school or above.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens aged between 18 and 30 (until September 1, 2020) with a valid foreign general passport.

（1）中国大陆、香港、澳门和台湾居民在移民外国后作为外国留学生来华学习必须持有效外国护照4年（含）以上，且近4年（截止2020年4月30日前）之内有在国外实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在国外住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

2.2.1 Residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who immigrated to other countries and then study in China as a foreign student must hold a valid foreign passport for 4 years or more.And in the past 4 years (Until April 30, 2020), there have been records of actually living abroad for more than 2 years (actually living abroad for 9 months in a year can be calculated in one year, certified by entry and exit seals)

（2）根据有关规定，外籍华人（含已加入外国国籍的原中国公民及其外国籍后裔、中国公民的外国籍后裔）须通过公安机关出入境管理机构的国籍认定，方可办理外国人居留许可并按外国留学生身份进行学籍注册。未通过国籍认定者将被取消入学资格。

2.2.2 According to the relevant regulations, foreign Chinese (including former Chinese citizens who have joined foreign nationality and their descendants of foreign nationality, and foreign descendants of Chinese citizens) must pass the nationality identification of the entry and exit administration of thePublic Security Bureau. Then they can apply forforeign residence permit and register as a foreign student. Those who fail to pass the nationality identification will be disqualified.

（三）遵守中国政府的法律法规。学生身体健康，身体条件须符合教育部、卫生部、中国残疾人联合会《关于印发普通高等学校招生体检工作指导意见的通知》等相关文件规定，体检不合格者不予录取。

2.3 The applicants should comply with the laws and regulations of the Chinese government. The applicants’ physical conditions mustin line with the relevant documents issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, and China Disabled Persons' Federation, mainly the“Guidance Opinions on Physical Examination of Enrollment in Colleges and Universities”. Those who are not qualified for physical examination are not accepted.

（四）具有运用汉语和汉字进行交际和沟通的基本能力，汉语水平须达到《国际汉语能力标准》四级及以上水平。

2.4 The applicants should have the basic ability to communicate in Chinese and Chinese characters.Applicants for programs taught in Chinese should achieve International Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) band 4 or above.

（一）申请时间：

2020年2月1日至5月10日

4.1 Application Time:February 1, 2020- May 10, 2020

（二）申请材料：

申请人须提供如下材料，所有材料须一式三份：

1.《厦门海洋职业技术学院留学生入学申请表》（见附件1）；

2.《陈嘉庚奖学金申请表》（见附件2）；

3.护照或其他身份证明复印件；

4.2寸白底彩色免冠照片；

5.经公证的中文或英文高中或中专毕业证书和成绩单，中英文以外文本需附上经过公证的中文或英文译本；

6.汉语水平考试（HSK）证书复印件；

7.毕业学校鉴定表或推荐信；

8.申请人华人华侨后裔证明（模板格式见附件3）

所在国家华人社团、或较有影响的华人出具申请人为华人后裔的证明函；

9.《厦门海洋职业技术学院国际学生经济担保书》（见附件4）及其担保材料复印件，须用中文或英文填写。申请奖学金者也需提交经济担保书。

10.来华学习计划（不少于800字）。

4.2 Application Materials

The applicant  shall provide the following materials intriplicate:

4.2.2 Tan Kah Kee Scholarship Application Form (AppendixⅡ)

4.2.3 Copy of passport or other identification;

4.2.4 Two inch color bareheaded photos;

4.2.5 Notarized diploma and transcripts of high school or secondary school in Chinese or English. Documents in languages other than Chinese and English must be attached notarized Chinese or English translations.

4.2.6Copy of thecertificate of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK).

4.2.7 Academic Recommendation Letter or School Verification Letter 

4.2.8The identification of the descendants of overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese (Template format is shown inAppendixⅢ)

The certificate of the applicant for the Chinese descendants should be issued by the Chinese Association or the influential overseas Chinese of the host country.

4.2.9 Copy ofFinancial SupportGuaranteeStatement for International Students(AppendixⅣ), combined with the relevant guaranteematerials (in English,or in Chinese). Applicants for government scholarships are also required to submita financial upportguaranteestatement.

4.2.10 Study Plan in China (no less than 800 words)

申请者请将全部申请材料扫描电子版发到邮箱xmoc522@***,并将全部完整的申请材料纸质版在5月10日前一起寄到厦门海洋职业技术学院招生办公室。

The applicant  should send all the scanned application materials to xmoc522@***, and then send all the original copy of application materials to the Admissions Office of Xiamen Ocean Vocational College before May 10.

五、录取选拔

ⅤAdmission and Selection

（一）资格审查

我校将综合审查申请者的外籍身份、高中学历、学业成绩、语言证书、个人陈述、中学推荐意见、华人华侨后裔证明等。

5.1Verification of qualification

There will be a comprehensive review of the applicant’s foreign identity, high school diploma, academic performance, language proficiency, personal statement, recommendations and the identification of the descendants of overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese .

（二）考核

我校将对通过资格审查的学生于5月中下旬进行考核，重点考查学生的语言交流能力和综合素质等。

5.2 Assessment

For those applicants who pass the verification of qualification, the school will take a assessment , focuses on the students' language communication ability, overall merit, etc.

（三）我校将根据申请者的资格审查和考核结果择优录取。

录取通知书和外国留学人员来华学习签证申请表将于7月陆续寄出。

5.3The admission decision will be based on the verification of the applicant’s qualification and  assessment results.

Admission Notices and Student Visa Application Forms (JW202) for successful applicants will be mailed out starting in July 2020.

六、奖学金资助标准

Ⅵ Scholarships Funding Standards

陈嘉庚奖学金资助标准：人民币5万元/人/学年；福建省政府奖学金资助标准：人民币3万元/人/学年。被录取到我校就读的外国留学生，需要按程序评审，评审通过后奖学金原则上按月发放。

Funding Standard of“Tan Kah Kee Scholarship”: 50,000 RMB/per-person/per-year.

Funding Standard of Fujian Provincial Government Scholarship: 30,000 RMB/per-person/per-year.

The overseas students admitted to our college should be reviewed by particular procedures. The scholarship will be provided monthly in principle after the approval.

奖学金可以用来支付学费、住宿费、保险费、教材费、生活费等费用。

The scholarships can be used for tuition, accommodation, insurance, textbooks, living expenses and other expenses.

奖学金不可兼得，申请者多只能获得其中一种奖学金资助。

Applicants can only receive one of the scholarships.

我校将全面审查奖学金申请者的学业成绩、语言能力水平等，根据奖学金遴选办法，坚持规范、客观、公平的原则，从被录取的学生中择优选拔奖学金候选人，报学校及奖学金上级主管部门审批。同时，根据奖学金评审相关办法对各类奖学金获得者进行年度考核，符合条件的可继续申请或享受下一学年的奖学金，否则将取消其享受奖学金资格或降低奖学金标准。

Xmoc will comprehensively review the academic performance and language proficiency of scholarship applicants. According to the scholarship selection method, adhere to the principle of standardization, objectivity and fairness, Xmoc will select the candidates for the scholarship from the admitted students, and report it to the higher authorities of the college for approval. At the same time, the scholarship recipients will be assessed annually according to the relevant methods of scholarship evaluation. Eligible applicants can continue to apply or receive scholarships for the next academic year. Those who do not meet the conditions will be disqualified from scholarship or lower scholarship criteria.

七、收费标准

Ⅶ Charges Standard

（一）学费标准：15000元人民币/人/学年。

（二）住宿费标准：2200元人民币/人/学年。

留学生入住学生公寓，公寓每四人一间，配有空调、热水器、家具、独立卫生间。

7.1 Tuition Standard: 15,000 RMB/per-person/per-year.

7.2 Accommodation Fee Standard: 2,200 RMB/ per-person/per-year. International students stay in the student dorms with air conditioning, water heater, furniture and separate toilet. Every dorm contains four students.

享受奖学金学生与自费学生的收费标准相同。

Scholarship students are charged the same fees as self-funded students.
