Eligibility

Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s RepublicofChina, and be in good health.

The requirements for applicants’ degree and age are that applicants must: Be a

master’s degree holder and no more than 40.

Chinese-taught program: The applicants shall have HSK4 certificatewithscores no less than 210.

English-taught program: No requirements for applicants’ Chinese. Applicants from non-English speaking countries shall take TOEFL with scores no less than 85 or IELTS no less than 6.0.

Complete the online application procedure at CGS Information Management System for International Students (Visithttp://www.***.cn/studyinchina orand click “Application Online” to log in), submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, and print a hard copy.

Submit all your application documents to Hebei University of Technology before the deadline.

Application Documents (in duplicate)

Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (written in ChineseorEnglish);

Notarized highest diploma;

Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued byyourcurrent school to prove your current student status or expected graduationdate.Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English);

Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English);

This should be a minimum of 800 words for postgraduate program applicants.

Two Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English);

Applicants for postgraduate program must submit two recommendation letters signed by professors or associate professors.

Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy) (The original copy willbekept by yourself and the form is uniformly printed by Chinese healthy quarantine departments. It must be written in English and can be downloaded from http://www.***.cn/studyinchinaor http://www.***).

The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.

The copy of valid HSK Certificate (if available).

The copy of valid TOEFL or IELTS Certificate (if available).

All documents should be bound together on top left corner in order (You should submit TWO sets of bound documents). No application documents will be returned.

Scholarship Confirmation

Hebei University of Technology reviews the application documentsanddecides the nominated candidates.

Nominated candidates will get Chinese Government Scholarships to studyinChina with approval of the CSC.

CSC reserves the rights to decide the host university for scholarship recipients with multiple offers. Each scholarship recipient—even when admitted by multiple universities—will be granted no more than one scholarship.

The CSC reviews eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates, approves the List of Scholarship Recipients, and sends the admission documents to Hebut before June 30th. Hebut sends the admission documents (List of Scholarship Recipients, Admission Letter and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW201))

to scholarship recipients.

Scholarship recipients shall not allowed to change their host university, fieldofstudy, or duration of study stipulated on the Admission Letter after their comingtoChina.

Scholarship will not be reserved if scholarship recipient cannot registerbeforethe registration deadline.

四、申请条件

非中国籍公民，身体健康；

学历和年龄要求：来华攻读博士学位者，须具有硕士学位，年龄不超过40岁；

汉语授课：申请者汉语水平需达到HSK4 级210 分以上水平；

英语授课：对申请者汉语水平不作要求,母语为非英语国家的申请者TOEFL成绩不低于85 分或IELTS 成绩不低于6.0 分。

五、申请流程

登录“中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统”（ 登录http://www.***.cn/studyinchina 或 后，点击“网上报

名学生入口”图标进入）填写申请信息，在线提交并打印《中国政府奖学金申请表》。

登录“河北工业大学来华留学网上报名系统”（ 登录后，点击注册）填写申请信息，完成网上报名。我校鼓励申请者自行联系指导教师，指导教师信息可查询https://sie.***.cn/lxhg/dsxx/index.htm

在规定时间内将申请材料提交至河北工业大学

六、申请材料（均为一式两份）

《中国政府奖学金申请表》（中文或英文）；

经过公证的高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须另外提交本人就读学校出具的在学证明。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文；

学习成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文；

来华学习和研究计划。用中文或英文书写,研究生不少于800 字；

推荐信。申请者须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；《外国人体格检查表》复印件。原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，可登录国家留学基金委网站http://www.***.cn/studyinchina 或 下载，须英文填写。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6 个月；

已获得HSK 成绩报告的，请将复印件附在申请材料中。

已获得TOEFL 或IELTS 成绩报告的，请将复印件附在申请材料中。

以上材料请按上述顺序在左上角装订成册（一式两册）。无论录取与否，申请材料均不返还。

七、录取及通知

河北工业大学负责审核申请材料、确定录取人选；

拟录取人选经国家留学基金委审核合格，即可获得中国政府奖学金资助来华学习；

每名奖学金获得者只能获得一个中国政府奖学金项目的资助，对于同时被多所高校录取的奖学金申请人，国家留学基金委仅为其保留一所学校的奖学金资格；
