Notice of Enrollment of Hubei Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students from countries along the Belt and Road, and from Australia, New Zealand and Fiji
为加强湖北省与“一带一路”沿线国家的教育交流，湖北省教育厅委托湖北大学承担该项目汉语进修生和学位预科生的招生录取和培养管理。根据省厅文件要求，现制订招生简章如下。Hubei Provincial Department of Education established the Hubei Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students fromcountries along the Belt and Road, and from Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.Hubei University is entrusted to undertake the enrollment for Chinese language study and Foundation course programs.
1.学生来源/ Eligibility
主要招收来自“一带一路”沿线国家和澳大利亚、新西兰、斐济3国、具有以上国家国籍的留学生。Applicants should be citizens of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji orcountries along the Belt and Roadand in good health.
2.资助期限/Duration of Funding
汉语进修生:一学期（连续5个月）或一学年（10个月）；
学位预科生：一学年（10个月）。
Chinese language study: one academic semester (5 months)/one academic year (10 months)
Foundation course: one academic year (10 months)
3.招生条件/Requirements of Applicants
汉语进修生：须具有高中毕业学历，成绩优秀，年龄不超过35周岁；Applicants must be a high school graduate and no more than 35 years when apply for the Chinese language program.
学位预科生：须具有高中毕业学历，成绩优秀，年龄不超过30周岁。Applicants must be a high school graduate and no more than 30 years old when apply for the foundation course program.
4.资助内容/Scholarship Coverage
湖北大学对该项目奖学金生免收学籍注册费、学费和基本教材费；提供免费校内住宿和来华留学生综合医疗保险。The programs provide a full scholarship which covers registration fee,tuition,accommodationand medical insurance.
5.申请流程/Application Procedure
1) 访问“湖北大学国际教育学院”网站（http://ic.***.cn/），下载相关表格；Download application form from the website of International College, Hubei University. (http://ic.***.cn/)
2)在2018年6月25日之前内将申请材料通过邮件及邮寄形式提交至湖北大学留学管理办公室。All application documents should be emailed and mailed to Study Abroad Office (ic@***.cn), Hubei University before June 25, 2018.

1)《湖北省政府“一带一路”留学生奖学金申请表》Application Form of Hubei Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students from countries from the Belt and Road, and from Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
2) 外国人体格检查表Physical Examination Record For Foreigner.
3) 个人护照复印件Valid passport copy
4) 经过公证的高学历学位证明Notarized highest diploma
5) 经过公证的学习成绩单Notarized academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English)
6) 学校或任课教师的推荐信Two letters of recommendation
7) 学习计划A study plan or research proposal (written in Chinese or English)
另请提供护照照片（2张）Please submit two 2-inch color photo of applicant for registration.
※申请者如果有文艺、体育特长，请另附材料证明（如获奖证书、参加活动证明、新闻报道、图片、视频等）；经核实后，同等条件下优先考虑有文体特长的学生。Documents (award certificates, activity certificates, news reports, pictures, videos, etc) of specialty in arts or sports.
