2014年北京大学医学部外国留学生进修生招生简章

　　具有与进行学习专业相关的学历背景，并身体健康，遵守中华人民共和国法律和学校有关规章制度，能够支付各项费用者，均可报名。

　　二、申请办法

　　1．学生提出入学申请，并向北京大学医学部留学生办公室索取入学申请表。已在华学生可直接到学校留学生办公室提出申请，学校可协助办理转学手续。

　　2．提前6周将填写好的《北京大学医学部外国留学生进修学习申请表》和申请费寄到学校，方予受理入学申请。

　　三、进修生类别

　　1．长期进修生

　　学制半年或一年，为医学项目，以提高进修者的临床技能和经验、掌握实验室技术和科研能力为目。

　　在中国医学院校毕业的医学生也可进行以参加执业医师资格考试为目的的一年临床实习。每年9月入学，次年8月结束。

　　2．短期进修生

　　 学习数周至数月（以四个月为限）， 以获得科研思维训练和从事临床见习为目的。

　　四、进修专业

　　我校为综合性医学和健康科学学校：

　　1．基础学科：基础医学、公共卫生学、药学、护理学、医学人文学，专业门类齐全、科研能力强、理论水平高、实验技术先进；

　　2．附属医院：综合性医院和专科医院（肿瘤、口腔、精神卫生研究所）门诊及住院病人多、病症复杂，具有丰富的临床教学经验和特色。

　　在我校附属医院中医针灸科进修，可医生用英语带教。

　　申请者可根据自己的专业和爱好，选择进修专业，详细专业介绍可在网上查阅。

　　五、费用

　　1．长期进修生：

　　1）申请费：人民币800元，不退还;

　　2）学费：人民币52000元/学年.

　　2．短期进修生：人民币1250元/周，所交学费不退还、不转让。

　　3．住宿费、餐费、活动费、医疗费等费用自理。

　　4. 保险费：RMB 600/人年。根据中国教育部规定，全体留学生必须办理来华学生综合保险后方可办理学籍注册手续。

　　六、食宿

　　学校设有留学生宿舍：长期生房间70元/天/，短期生房间160元/天，所有房间均设有卫生间、空调、电话、互联网插口。

　　留学生楼内设有公用洗衣机，公共厨房。

　　七、签证、报到

　　1．学生一经录取，由学校发出录取通知书和外国留学人员来华签证申请表（JW202表）或签证通知表。学生可持之去当地中国使领馆办理来华签证。

　　2．学生按照通知时间来校报道，报到时需向校方交验护照、签证，按照学校要求办理有关居留手续。注册时，需缴纳各项费用。

The elective programs for international medical students at Peking University Health Science Center

　　Peking University Health Science Center provides electives for international students with an aim to improve their medical knowledge and skills and help them have a better understanding of Chinese medical education and its on going development.

　　The program provides courses in two fields: clinical observation and laboratory techniques. Students are required to decide their interested courses before admission. The duration of the program averages 4 weeks, and it could be extended on request.

　　Learning focus

　　1.?????? Clinical observation: The trainees will do clinical observation in one of the four departments (internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology). Each department will appoint an instructor to be responsible for arranging learning activities such as rotation, case discussion, observation of surgeries and demonstrations. All activities in the course of clinical observations are tailored to help the trainees to integrate theories and practice.

　　2.?????? Laboratory techniques: To improve students’ creativity and capability of conduction research under a mentor’s instruction in a laboratory, who probably is a professor or senior researcher of the university. Trainees are required to participate in researches in basic medicine, public health, or pharmacology, and they may join the following activities such as workshops, group discussions, experiments and laboratory technique practice.

　　Language used

　　English is the working language in both hospitals and laboratories. But it is much helpful to their learning in hospitals if trainees could communicate briefly in Chinese.

　　Admission requirements

　　Applicant must be an in-school medical student or other student in biomedical fields. He/She should apply for the program three months prior to the beginning of the course, Information requested included a resume of himself /herself and a recommendation letter singed by a professor or university authorities.
